Bottle fermentation gives this Geuze its famous Champagne-like spritziness. Brewed only with 60% barley malt, 40% unmalted wheat, aged hops, and water, spontaneously fermented by wild yeasts, and matured in oak casks.

BAIRD SHIZUOKA NATSUMIKAN 633ml

6.5% ABV, Wheat and barley combine in equal proportions as the base malt; Japanese candy sugar contributes five percent of the fermentables. At the end of the wort boiling, a mixture of freshly peeled and crushed Japanese natsumikans (tangerines) from both Shizuoka and Fukuoka are added to the kettle. The natsumikans from Shizuoka are quite large, grapefruit-like with a similar tart and sour character. The Fukuoka mikans on the other hand, are smaller, sweeter and more orange-like in character. Aprroximately 75% of the mixture comes from Shizuoka and 25% from Fukuoka.

BAIRD CARPENTER's MIKAN 633ml

The​ mikans used in this brew are fresh, succulent, and local -- harvested on the Heda land and by the hand of our carpenter friend, Nagakura-san. The Baird brewers hand-process the harvested mikans, shaving off the outer skin of the peel and pressing the juice. Both peel shavings and juice are added to the brew at different stages of production. The mikans serve to add depth and complexity to an already sumptious ale; their role is to complement, not dominate. In addition to mikans, the 2009 Carpenter’s Mikan Ale incorporates a grain bill including Maris Otter pale ale malt, wheat malt, unmalted wheat and two types of Japanese sugar (sudakito and akato). The hopping schedule features cirtrusy Centennial and Cascade varieties including dry-hop additions to the conditioning tank. The combination of mikans and citrus hops provide an exquisitely complex yet balanced fruit character. The wonderful aromatics of this character waft gorgeously from the billowy white head that forms in the glass. Final transport to beer Nirvana comes courtesy of the tight and spritzy natural carbonation that works to keep you tastebuds fresh and alert.

SCHNEIDER WEISSE NELSON SAUVIN 750ml

7.3% ABV, Brewed in 2011 exclusively to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the ABT cafes in Holland. Bottle-re-fermented wheat bock, exotic hop-flowery nose, balanced by malty spiciness, lightly sour hopfruitiness and a fine bitter finish.

DE RANKE SAISON DE DOTTIGNIES 330ml

5.5% ABV, De Ranke is kown for the hop forward beers like the XX Bitter, which is unusual for a Belgian beer company. This Saison is the “daughter” of an especially hoppy Saison made by De Ranke called “Hop Flower.” It is herbal and refreshing, and as hoppy as a good IPA. Completely dry finish with a hint of citrus and black pepper. Light bodied and flavorful brew that makes for a wonderful summer sipper.

8 WIRED SAISON SAUVIN 500ml

7% ABV, Saisons have been around for ages. Traditionally brewed by Belgian and French farmers to provide refreshment during harvest. This is a very modern, you might say new world, interpretation of this style. Based on the tradition we have used a French Saison yeast, which provides a plethora of funky, earthy, very “Belgian” flavours. From there they have upped the ante a fair bit by doubling the amount of malt, and thereby the alcohol, and loaded the kettle with punchy Nelson Sauvin hops, imparting a wonderful bitter grapefruit aroma. Unlike the original, this is not a beer meant to be drunk by the gallon.

Pours a beautiful vibrant yellow color with a small foamy white head. Herbal and earthy taste with a light lemon flavor. This beer has some serious terroir.

PICCOLO CHIOSTRO 330ml

5% ABV, Spiced Italian blonde beer brewed with wormwood, the main ingredient in Absinthe. A big white pillow of head forms as you pour it into the glass with nice retention. Mild farmhouse feel, clean bitterness, subtle fruitiness with a touch of black pepper. Won’t have you seeing green fairies, but still a very crisp and complex brew.

BINK BLOND 330ml

5.5% ABV, Everything you want from a light drinking blonde ale and more. Heady aroma of honeysuckle, and tropical fruits. Subtle warm spice notes come through without being overwhelming. They start with a standard Belgian Tripel recipe which is characterized by high alcohol content and light fruity taste, and marry it to double IPA, which is loaded with hops and a touch of balancing sweetness. The result is unlike any American IPA. It’s loaded with flavors of pineapple and grassy herbal notes, with a creamy mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation.

ACHEL TRAPPIST BRUNE 330ml

8% ABV, There are seven true trappist breweries left in the world, and only six in Belgium. The history of the brewery goes back to 1648, when Dutch monks built a chapel in Achel. The first beer to be brewed on the site was the Patersvaatje in 1852, and 19 years later in 1871, the site became a Trappist monastery, with beer brewing a regular activity. This trappist brown ale stays true to the long monastic brewing tradition with its slightly sour, oaky, and raisiny palate. The presence of acid makes this a wonderful pairing for food. Today the "Dubbel Speciale Belge" no longer exists, the current higher gravity beer styles are trappist, abbey ales and so on. Therefore Brouwerij de Glazen Toren decided to recreate this special beer style. "

PRETTY THINGS FLUFFY WHITE RABBITS 650ml

8.5% ABV, 50 IBUs, Pretty things Ale Project has created an outstanding new spring seasonal. Full bodied tripel loaded with saaz, styrian goldings, and Amarillo hops. Fluffy mouthfeel: yes, really! There’s a faint sweetness with tropical fruit undertones. Pours a pale copper color with a floral and fruity perfume wafting from the glass. Fluffy White Rabbits is a very “Pretty Things” take on a tripel.

WESTOEK XX 330ml

8% ABV, Developed and manufactured at the Deca Brewery under the management of Urbain Coutteau, world renown brew master of De Struise Brouwers. The colour is deep-blond with some orange highlights, the beer is slight hazy and topped with a nice ivory-white head. The aroma is soft, malty and has an interesting tone of traditional bread, nuts and cereals, but also hints of flowers, blossoms, refreshing hops and fresh herbs.

DE MOLEN ROOK and VURR (SMOKE and FIRE) 330ml

8.2% ABV, “No smoke without a fire goes an old saying. But although we had many smoke in several of our beers there still wasn't a fire. That's why we decided to do something about it.” So this unique brew was infused with chili peppers. The result is this perfectly balanced beer with hints of smoke and an small fire on your tongue.

MIKKELLER MONKS BREW 750ml

10% ABV, Monk’s Elixir is a heavy dark Belgian ale inspired by the Trappist monasteries of Rochefort and Westvleteren. The beer style, characterized by its high content of alcohol, distinguishes itself by its dominant yeast character, delicious malt background and balanced hop notes. ST. FEUILLIEN BRUINE 750ml

8.5% ABV, This brown ale has a marked ruby brown color with a generous and lasting head. It has a distinctive aroma reflecting the wide range of ingredients used in its production. The fruitiness resulting from its fermentation blends harmoniously with a dominant licorice and caramel flavor. The body is decidedly malty. The bitterness is the result of a complex alchemy between the fine hops and special malts used. These give St Feuillien Brune a typical dark chocolate appearance.

ST. FEUILLIEN SPECIALE 750ml

9% ABV, Also sold as ’St Feuillien Cuvee de Noel” in Belgium. Its dark, slightly ruby brown color is the result of the roasted barley. The intense aroma is filled with aromatic herbs and spices. This beer is fullbodied with a smoothness that is the result of the synergy of caramelized malts, carefully controlled fermentation and long cold storage. A very subtle bitterness is present in this harmonious ale.

LA GRANDE 10 by LA RULLES 750ml

10%​ ABV, Brasserie Artisanale La Rulles was founded by Gregory Verhelst, brewmaster and malter, in June 2000 in the small village of Rulles situated in the south of the province of Louxembourg, the village chosen because of its exceptional water quality coming from the forest d'Anlier. The pure unfiltered, untreated water contains very little minerals, which showcases the brews ingredients to the fullest.

KERKOM BINK GRAND CRU 750ml

13% ABV, Smooth as silk and loaded with milk chocolate with a touch of stewed fruit. Light tartness gives this dark winter warmer a nice dark berry-like acidity; a true holiday masterpiece thanks to the Kerkom brewery. The brewery dates from 1878. During the first world war, there were 127 breweries in Limburg, Belgium. In 1965 there were only 13 left. Now, 6 of them are still active. One of them is the brewery of Kerkom.

BIRRIFICIO DOLLI RAPTOR 330ml

8.5%​ ABV, Brewed by Birrifico Montegiocco, matured in Barbera wine barrels for over 6 months, amber color, notes of chestnut, plums, grapes and caramel. Ridiculously complex! Never has a beer been so reminiscent of Italian red wine. Tannins present along with an earthy cherry funk.

DE STRUISSE TSEEJES RESERVA 330ml

10% ABV, Belgian tripel aged over stone fruit. De Struisse’s famed holiday tripel has just been kicked up a notch. The reserve has been aged in oak barrels to mature and take on a nice mellow oaky complexity.

ALLAGASH CURIEUX 750ml

11% ABV, Tripel ale aged for eight weeks in Jim Beam bourbon barrels. Next, it is blended with an unaged tripel in order to balance it out. The result reveals delicate vanilla and coconut with warm spice and a strong, but pleasant premium whiskey ethanol finish.

J.W. LEES HARVEST ALE 2010 LAGAVULIN BAREL AGED 250ml

11.5% ABV, Matured in wooden casks of Lagavulin Malt Whiskey, one of the most distinctive malt whisky from the island of Islay, characterized by the strong peaty notes which should blend with the Harvest Ale to give an explosion of flavors.This fully fermented ale has been brewed by JW Lees as a celebration of the brewers' art. Harvest Ale can be enjoyed now or laid down like a fine wine for enjoyment to come.

NORTHCOAST OLD STOCK OTSUCHI RELIEF 750ml

12%​ ABV, Old Stock is a strong Barley Wine that pours a hazy brick red to brown color. Notes of brown sugar, and wood are present on the palate. A slightly different edition of North Coast Brewing’s Old Stock – Old Stock Otsuchi 2012. 100% of the funds benefit Otsuchi Tsunami relief efforts. MIKKELLER BIG WORSE RED WINE EDITION 375ml

12% ABV, Strong barley wine aged in red wine barrels. Pours a reddish brown hue with a beige head that dissipates and gives off a beautiful aroma of toasty oak, fruit, and cocoa. Tannin from red wine can be detected along with red fruit. Pleasant bitterness with a hint of vanilla. Fairly dry finish for a barleywine.

DE MOLEN BOMMEN and GRANATEN (BOMBS and GERNADES) 330ml

15% ABV, It was more than obvious that we had to name this dessert beer Bombs and Grenades. The use of champagne yeast has had it’s effect on both flavor and body. There’s plenty of fruit like orange, tangerine and sweet apples. It’s powerful and full bodied but still easy going. Although the name would suggest otherwise it’s our favorite amongst the female clientele yet also highly appreciated by all

DE MOLEN 1914 LONDON PORTER 750ml

5.8%​ ABV, The original porter! Or at least a recreation of the original recipe. Beer historian, and respected blogger, Ron Pattinson collaborated Menno Olivier on this historic treat. It's a taste of what the "original porter", brewed by London's Whitbread Brewery, would be like without having to travel back to pre-WWI days. Whitbread was known to be one of the largest producers of porters during this time and brewed their original porter on August 1, 1914, only a few weeks before the outbreak of World War I.

HAANDBRYGGERIET COSTA RICA 500ml

6.2% ABV, You could say that here you get beer and coffee in the same drink. The coffee is specially roasted by Øystein at Lippe Kaffebrenneri in Oslo. The perfect drink for breakfast, as well as being a great Porter you have a strong mellow and nice coffee flavor.

TROIS DAME SEMEUSE ESPRESSO STOUT 330ml

7.5% ABV, Large, round, full-bodied and velvety. The coffee blend contains 10% of Vietnamese Robusta and 90% Arabica from Brazil and Ethiopia. The best espresso combined with a powerful bouquet with the taste of molasses, cocoa, and aromatic hops. This beer is brewed only twice per year.

HERCULE STOUT 330ml

9% ABV, The only self-proclaimed ‘Belgian stout’ named after famed Belgian detective Hercule Poirot, a native son of Ellezelles. It's every bit as sturdy and dapper as its namesake, considered a World Classic.

BUFFALO STOUT 750ml

9% ABV, Buffalo, from Brouwerij Van Den Bossche is dark, almost black, top fermented Belgian style stout. In 1907 "Buffalo Bill's" Circus from the US played on the town square of Sint-Lievens-Esse. The brewery workers arranged for a young apprentice to watch over the brew kettels. He did, but he forgot to stir and Buffalo was born. The New Buffalo was created to commemorate 100th Anniversary of that event. Loaded with caramel and roasted malt flavors, this one is a must try for stout lovers.

BUXTON TSAR 330ml

9.5% ABV, This Imperial Russian Stout is rich and powerful. Full flavored, with a sturdy malt backbone and a strong hop profile. Take time to savor the complex flavors and character of this mighty ale.

9% ABV, As far as we know, this is the only wheat stout in the universe. This is a true wheat beer made from mainly wheat malt and lots of dark roasted malt, hoppy aroma creates this unique and tasty beer.

10.2% ABV, Brewed with brown malts, an English traditional specialty malt, an Imperial Russian Stout that has won prizes at festivals across Europe from Sweden to Italy. It’s big, black, roasted and complex. We are convinced that not trying this ale will be a mortal sin to your taste buds and beer experience.

BFM CUVEE ALEX LE ROUGE 330ml

10.28%​ ABV, Imperial stout created in the honor of the Jurassian revolutionary by the same name. An extremely complex stout that is brewed with Serawak black pepper, Bourbon vanilla and Russia tea, the mouth feel is chewy with a healthy hoppy presence and long finish with a subtle sour tinge.

MIKKELLER CALVADOS AGED BEER GEEK BRUNCH 250ml

10.9%​ ABV, Calvados is an apple Brandy distilled from dry cider and aged in oak. The aroma has a roasted coffee and caramelized grain appeal to it, with a fruity addition to the nose. While coming across with some heat the dry woody notes lifted a gentle apple-like scent from the glass. Together the malts, coffee, alcohol, and oak strip your palate of any moisture. Hints of apple appear mid-sip and in the aftertaste, but for the most part the alcohol seems to have boosted the coffee and malts to a new level. The mouth feel is thicker than the original Weasel.

MIKKELLER BEER GEEK BRUNCH WEASEL 500ml

10.9% ABV, Brewed at Nogne Ø, “This imperial Oatmeal stout is brewed with one of the world’s most expensive coffees, made from droppings of weasel-like civet cats. The fussy Southeast Asian animals only eat the best and ripest coffee berries. Enzymes in their digestive system help to break down the bean. Workers collect the bean-containing droppings for Civet or Weasel Coffee. The exceedingly rare Civet Coffee has a strong taste and an even stronger aroma.”

11% ABV, Imperial stout brewed with coffee and aged in oak barriques. Brewed in New Zealand after great reception of their batch 18, that was brewed to commemorate the brewery’s 18 month anniversary. That beer did so well they recreated it in their batch 31. A hefty dose of jaggery and coffee add earthy aroma and body.

SMISJE GRAND RESERVA COGNAC 250ml

11% ABV, Created by one of the smallest craft brewers in Belgium, located in west Flanders, this Belgian stout carries on Smisje’s tradition of infusing their beers with spices, and then this one in particular is aged in Cognac barrels. Chewy mouth feel, mellow notes of stewed raisins and burnt caramel.

MIKKELLER BLACK 375ml

16.5% ABV, Strongest beer in Scandinavia. One of the biggest, and most robust stouts out there. High alcohol is balanced by a cognac like sweetness. Soft and silky carbonation. Finishes with bitter cocoa and dark roasted coffee. Truly a masterpiece that is shouldn’t be missed by stout lovers.
